Summary
Braque sees that business dealings in the U.S. are always fraught with difficulties. Under normal conditions, he would wait to see Rosenberg in June to settle the matter [unspecified], but such uncertain times and the memory of 6 or 7 years of separation [from Rosenberg] during the war make him want to get it settled immediately. Braque and his wife have both been suffering from the flu and are going to the south of France to recover. He sends his best wishes to the "young couple." Braque has heard that his works on display in Rosenberg's gallery in New York have been very favorably received and thanks him for exhibiting them.
