Summary
Thanking Rosenberg for his letters and telegrams and telling him that they have cleared up the matter of the return of his paintings. Everything seems to be in order except for one missing painting that Rosenberg has said he's written to San Francisco about, a painting, he thinks, of two fish, from 1937. There is also one of a skull that Rosenberg had in storage and that he told Braque he remembers. Braque and Rosenberg are in agreement now about the painting to be exchanged [see MA 3500.51]. Rosenberg will keep the still life with a skull. Braque accepts Rosenberg's offer for the easel [probably a painting of an easel--maybe L'Homme au chevalet--the Man with the Easel].
