Summary
Informing him that he has just sent Rosenberg's brother Edmond a bill of sale for the painting belonging to Rosenberg that was discovered in Belgium. The affair is moving slowly, but Braque says it's good to have one's belongings returned. This recovery of Rosenberg's painting was unexpected, when one considers the extent of the Germans' pillaging. Braque is eager to settle matters that the war interrupted. Braque says that he has had no news from Rosenberg regarding the return of his paintings [from the US] and asks him if he has taken the necessary steps. He asks Rosenberg to advise him when he can expect to receive them. Braque is working busily.
