Summary
Braque excuses himself for not responding sooner to Rosenberg's letter. He just got back from London, where he attended the closing of his exhibition. London is still suffering the effects of the war. Braque is in good health and busy at work. He is looking forward to seeing Rosenberg when he visits in July, when they can discuss Rosenberg's proposals. Concerning the return of Braque's works from the US, Braque has contacted Fouanet, who is in the US, since he's the one who took charge of sending them over from France. He went to see his brother, who has all the necessary papers for their return. Rosenberg should be receiving a visit from Fouanet, since Braque told his brother that Rosenberg is the one in possession of all the paintings. If Braque recalls correctly, Braque and Rosenberg have agreed to the same conditions for the return of the works, and San Francisco will be paying for it. He asks Rosenberg to write back to reassure him.
