Summary
Braque tells Rosenberg that his health has returned and he is working energetically. Rosenberg has asked him for some paintings, but Braque is busy preparing an exhibition for London, which will deprive him of his canvases for at least 2 months. He calls it a "propaganda exhibition" and hopes to be soon done with them. He thinks that by the end of this exhibition, Rosenberg will have returned to Paris, and it will be easier for them to discuss an exhibition for Rosenberg. Rosenberg has recovered his gallery there, and Braque says he must be eager to return (in postscript) Braque informs Rosenberg that some museums have bought a group of his paintings: Le grand billard (L'Interieur avec le gueridon et la fenetre) [The Billiard Table], Les poissons noirs, and the gueridon au bol. They are planning to add a second set of his paintings to this purchase.
