Summary
Informing him that he received his letter and checked the prices agreed upon. They seem to both be in agreement. Braque has been working, returning to sculpture to a certain extent. Rosenberg will see his latest work when he comes to visit. Braque says he has heard that Picasso went to Paris, where some friends saw him, but with the alert, he must certainly not have wanted to stay for long. Braque has received news from Chicago and the catalogue [for the exhibition of his works] but didn't understand anything except for a letter he sent to Madame ["Bobsy"] Goodspeed that they photographed and reproduced. He asks why and adds a note that the check from San Francisco that he sent to the Morgan Bank was in Rosenberg's name and deposited into his account.
