Summary
Braque has had the flu again and had to go see a doctor in Rouen. His work has suffered from his illness, and he says that life is very boring when one has nothing to do. Now he is feeling better and even had the energy to do his taxes--a good sign. [Gabriel] Vicart [Rosenberg's secretary] has written to him regarding them. Braque has a few canvases that he hopes to finish soon. He asks if Rosenberg is thinking about reopening his gallery in Paris. It would be a change from philanthropic exhibitions, but is it the right moment? He asks Rosenberg if he knows where his paintings sent to the U.S. are: He has received no catalogue from San Francisco [from the World's Fair]. Braque doesn't think he'll be going to Paris any time soon but asks Rosenberg to tell him his plans.
