Summary
Asking his correspondent to look in "the small library near the drawing room door & amongst the quarto dictionaries" for a work on etymology by the Reverend Mr. Whiter and to send him a transcription of the title page, "for I forget the exact title & of which place Whiter was parson. Some where I think in Suffolk or Norfolk;" adding that he hopes the workmen are not inconveniencing him and that the work will soon be finished.
