Summary
Concerning the date of the Wordsworth Society meeting; saying "The day for the Club meeting is very unlucky. It is the day of P. of Wales visit to Oxford to inaugurate the Indian Institute - and not only will all the principal people here be occupied - but a special train from London will bring down many 'swells' who might otherwise have attended the Club. Another [illegible] I think that rather an earlier hour could be an improvement - 4 p.m. acts as a veto on country people who wish to be home at night. Professor Fraser was here a day or two ago & called but I missed him. Gordon Wordsworth is here. I believe that he has an elder brother in America. Rawnsley, as you probably know, is going to move to Crosthwaite. There will be matter for a new series of sonnets. I hope that it will not be very long before I see you. The Prelude looks very nice in its new dress."
