Saying it is unlikely he will be able to attend the meeting saying "I have not recovered my full strength after a bad time earlier in the spring and my 72 years begin to [illegible] on my power of bearing fatigue - If the day is fine, & I get a good sleep I may perhaps muster courage;" asking where his subscription should be paid and in what amount; adding "I hope that your edition de luxe of Wordsworth is making progress - I was much pleased with the specimen pages."
