Summary
He is glad to know that Rosenberg had a good vacation and is well. Braque enjoys working at this time of year and is getting a great deal done. He is enjoying his Alfa but is giving it a rest so he can think only of painting. He just completed a still life, a remembrance of Marseille with seashells--mussels, oysters ... He hung about 10 canvases on his wall, most of them well underway. He has been thinking about the panels Rosenberg has requested from him and, embarrassed because of not starting on it yet, has finally created a preparatory drawing for it that he thinks will work well. He's thinking a great deal about his return to Paris and about his new house. He's concerned about the dimensions of his studio in La Ciotat and wants to make sure that the new one in Paris will meet his needs.
