Summary
Forwarding "the Regency Gazette containing the Reports received by the Spanish Government from Field Marshal the Marquis of Wellington of the Assault & Capture of the Town of St. Sebastian on the 31st [...] and of the Defeat on the same day of the French Army under Marshal Soult in a desperate Attack made upon the Spanish Army under the Command of Genl. Freire and upon other parts of the Position of the Allied Army in the Pyrenees;" adding in a postscript that another gazette containing an account of the surrender of the Castle of San Sebastian is also included (neither of these gazettes have remained with the letter).
