Summary
Thanking him for the postcard; adding "Alas! that only this very moment has it flashed across me that possibly a compilation of mine a few years ago, might interest you - especially if you are fond of yachting as I used to be. You must excuse the '1894' tide table, as it is the only copy I have by me - one of the first batch that were printed. Association of ideas, illustrated! being in the same bookcase, one thing reminded me of the other, so have enclosed a pamphlet on indexing which probably is more in your 'line'. Everyone has ideas of their own about this - especially those who have never done any, I find!!!"
