Summary
Saying that he has been "of late in a very low way as the phrase goes - but I will without fail spend Sunday next with you;" discussing when he will arrive and his desire not to trouble Godwin ("taking only such part of your time as would be otherwise unemployed by you, & taking pen, ink, & paper in the other room for the remainder"); sending his "Love and kindest wishes" to Mary Jane Godwin.
