Summary
Apologizing for being late with the enclosed; stating that "The undermining of the defense economy" appeared in John Logan's magazine Chicago Choice, but he doesn't believe he would mind it being used; adding that "In Ohio" and all the others have been turned over to Robert Bly for the Sixties; saying that "In fear of harvest" and "The American frontier" have already been printed, but the others have not, so if he wants any of them printed Robert Bly said it would be all right; wishing he could send him something that hasn't been committed elsewhere, but he doesn't have anything right now; concluding that he would like to send some other new poems for fun and that he is still reading "The drunk in the furnace" and "Spanish ballads" with pleasure and admiration.
