Sayng that Sam's caricature arrived and that he is forwarding it to Boston; writing that he thinks it is charming and that he is very grateful it doesn't make him look like Arthur Godfrey, who everyone says he looks like; (in manuscript postscript) adding that he has had a couple of pleasant communications with friends at Dent & Sons and that they don't think the English will have trouble with any of the pieces.
