Summary
Giving a summary of his health; writing that he has been working on the annual Christmas jingle of a greeting he does for the New Yorker; stating that he hasn't been able to think of a decent title for the book except the series by the New Yorker, Perverse News Items, which they would have to clear for use by the magazine; saying that he liked Sam's illustrations, but worries about the Crouse caricature which could cause some problems with Crouse, his wife, and son if it is published; adding that if he thinks of a better title then he will let him know, and vice versa.
