Summary
Noting from his previous letter (MA 5786.6) that he took some steps on the Perverse News Items and extracted the copy from the book material and is enclosing it to him and wrote a woman to tell him what he has done with the item so she doesn't think it's lost; saying that he is enclosing an old proof of the first Perverse item done for the New Yorker, but it's not published so they can't use it; suggesting that he tell Sam (Berman) that the items he crossed out in editing the pieces for the Nostalgia book are not eligible for the Berman book and to steer clear of the first item dated in Metuchen in March 1, 1952; saying that he slightly fixed the issue regarding real names in the stories, but it can be confusing so it might be easier to invent new names; stating that he will look up the name of the woman from the first paragrah who he sent the corrected galleys to in Boston (in manuscript "Mrs. Tyler").
