Summary
Saying that he is enclosing the changes (see MA 22207.4), but still can't think of a title for the whole book; stating that "News of the root" is out, "The lost son" seems negative and maybe has overtones of self-pity, and "The shape of the fire" seems the best fit, but doesn't overwhelm him; asking if "The long alley" could be a contender; commanding that Sargent not let them put green cloth on the binding "just because there's something about growing in the book" and requesting that they send the typeface samples; apologizing for the delays in response, but he has been away; adding that he hasn't heard from Wystan.
