Discussing the logistics of his visit to Sir George and accepting Sir George's offer of having Lady Beaumont's carriage meet him in Harlowe to bring him to Dunmow; adding "I shall not bring any colours with me, as it is my object to run wild as much as possible - I am still in hopes when I return, to be able to finish my large picture before the Exhibition, without exceeding the moderation that has been recommended me."
