Commenting on the abilities of Kemble, Kean and Talma and the legacy of Garrick; expressing his admiration for Garrick; saying "You hold the once lov'd & admired Garrick, as I do, seen almost to Idolatry - Instances innumerable of the Opinions, attachments, & Friendships & admiration of the great, the good, the Learned & accomplished might be produced to fill a volume - his own great Name like Shakespeare leaps into space & occupies the whole;" commenting on Mrs. Inchbald saying "She too prostitutes her Pen, feeble as it is."
