The screenplay for City of Your Final Destination was written by Ruth Prawer Jhabvala based on the novel of the same title by Peter Cameron. The film was directed by James Ivory and produced by Ismail Merchant for Merchant Ivory Productions; it was released in the United States in 2010.
Part of a collection of film director James Ivory's heavily annotated shooting scripts, editing notebooks, and small scripts. Each of the thirty-one films he directed for Merchant Ivory Productions is represented in the collection, beginning with the production company's first film, The Householder (1963), and including, among others, The Europeans (1979), A Room with A View (1985), Howards End (1992), The Remains of the Day (1993), The Golden Bowl (2000), and The City of Your Final Destination (2010).
