Summary
Writing about the postive effects the air and the sea at Aberystwyth have had on his health in the past; describing panoramically and in great detail the view from the house he and his wife built in Aberystwyth; mentioning Mount Snowdon and saying that Snowdon presents "his most humble & respectful compliments to Mont Blanc & his gigantic companions"; praising Sir George's description of Mont Blanc; discussing depictions of alpine scenery and the aesthetic characteristics of the scenery itself; suggesting that the Beaumonts go down the Rhône to the Pyrenees and compare them to the Alps: "next year you may attack Italy & the Appennines, & again make me long to go with you"; thanking them for sending a picture; sending "best regards" from Lady Caroline and his daughter; adding that his son "would do the same but he is on duty in the county attending races balls &ca &ca."
