Summary
Thanking him for offering to do an exhibition of his work just when he was looking for a gallery. Redon cannot commit himself completely yet because he needs to see the light in Rosenberg's gallery. His work requires soft lighting. He will come to see Rosenberg in October. He is happy that Rosenberg has expressed a desire to exhibit his work, so that he can have a more successful show than he has had in the past (in other galleries). He has a small but loyal following and hopes to have an intermediary who will help him to acquire a larger one.
