Summary
Writing to inform Rosenberg that he has sent the promised photographs; saying that he is in route to the opening of the William Rockhill Nelson Gallery of Art, Kansas City; mentions that the first part of the trip was not good, he was taking photographs at the cockpit door when the plane hit an air pocket and dropped, causing him to hit his head on the airplane ceiling; adding (in French) "you know Charles Durand-Ruel, the other personnages are unknown to me, but all the corporations are represented as well as decorators, Oriental objects, old and contemporary masters, Asian arts, etc. We are starting to leave the doldrums of the Great Depression and this inauguration has taken the form of an event."
