Summary
Praising Beaumont for his "tender conscience" and saying "[e]ven when it goes beyond its mark, as in your letter of yesterday -- it is still a beautiful transgression"; telling Beaumont that he has decided to hold the sale of his drawings in the spring (see MA 1581.55 for background on the sale); discussing the catalogue of his drawings; asking Beaumont various questions about the logistics, including when the drawings should be sent to London; saying "I have consulted some of my other friends: but I consider you as my first counsellor."
