Summary
A letter describing the incredible red tape involved in acquiring an authorization that will allow Rosenberg to take possession in New York of paintings Hessel had lent to an exhibition in Buenos Aires. Rather than following the procedures in the letter, which will take weeks, Hessel is sending him a kind of simple authorization, which is included at the end of the letter and which there should be no problem honoring. Hessel and Rosenberg's brother Edmond have not received Rosenberg's packages.
