Summary
Informing him that he has tried to acquire information about works that Hessel said he lent to the San Francisco World's Fair in 1939 but has just been told that nothing under his name is on record, unless, perhaps, they were on display in the French Pavilion. He gives Hessel a whole list of specific details to provide so that he (Rosenberg) can try to find out exactly what happened. He informs Hessel that he's opening a gallery on 57th Street (in Manhattan).
