Summary
Writing to inquire about value of the Henri Rousseau painting "Le Pont de Grenelle"; mentions its exhibition with the [Société des Artistes] Independants, its reproduction in a Dutch book devoted to Rousseau, and in an exhibition at the Bernheim gallery; notes that it was worth 19000 Fr in 1913-14 and that It is a well known painting by Rousseau reproduced in a book by White; saying that he is also writing to Stockholm for the same thing; (in a postscript) mentions that the price in Stockholm was 19,000 with the change in currency, but he thinks it is a painting meant for a collection in America, England, Spain, for a museum or private collection.
