Summary
Being a typed and bound compilation of parodies of Lewis Carroll divided into four sections, Jabberwocky, The Gardener's Song, The Walrus and the Carpenter and Miscellaneous Parodies; including the author, place of publication and publication date with each parody where it is known with publication dates between 1898 and 1923 and with the earliest date of creation of a parody being one titled "Waggawocky. (On the Tichborne Trial) by Shirley Brooks and dated 1872 with no publication information. The Jabberwocky section comprises 39 parodies. the Gardener's Song has 8 parodies, the Walrus & the Carpenter, 27 parodies and the volume ends with 9 Miscellaneous parodies and 5 poems by Lewis Carroll. Each of the first three sections starts with the Lewis Carroll original poem. Many of the poems do not indicate the author but rather only the name of the publication in which it appeared and date of publication, most particularly for poems published in Punch or Life and in some the attribution is simply "Anonymous."
