Summary
Concerning her miniature painting of Lewis Carroll; saying "I have heard nothing whatever from Dr. G.C. Williamson on the miniature. He wrote to me Dec 27th saying he intended taking the miniature to show to his collector friend at 'The First Edition' Club, Bedford Square on the following Tuesday - Jan 1st - failing this I shall be there the next Tuesday 8th Jan. I fear he must be seriously ill & unable to write to me - I will let you know at once if I hear anything - But time is running on. How long does your American friend stay in London?"
