Notes
The identity of the recipient is not given, however given the inclusion in the album of correspondence with Miss Thomson, it is likely meant for her.
The note is undated however Mrs. Bayne died in 1888. Mrs. Bayne was the mother of Thomas Vere Bayne, a close friend of Carroll since childhood.
Written on the verso of a calling card, printed in purple ink "Rev. C.L. Dodgson, / Christ Church, / Oxford" and with "T.O." in his autograph on the front of the card.
Written in pencil.
