Describing what he did for the holidays; discussing his Fidelman story, [The glass blower of Venice] set in Venice; adding that he finished five stories, three which are in his collection and the fourth will be in the February Playboy and the fifth is being typed now; saying that he also did a long story on the Freedom Writers set in the Soviet Union; announcing that he has seen Belitt's name in various magazines relative to his essays and is delighted to see his reputation continue to grow and hopes it will continue.
