Summary
Concerning a dispute over a debt to the Drury Lane Theatre; saying "...I have no hesitation in thus engaging, and agreeing with the Sub Committee of Drury Lane Theatre, to answer any pecuniary deficiency which may arise from my benefit, on Wednesday next: but I am advised that, giving my promisory note for £100, would amount to a confession of a present debt to the Theatre."
