Broadside playbill for a performance of the first part of King Henry IV, with R. W. Elliston in his second appearance as Falstaff. Other performers listed on the playbill include the ventriloquist Alexandre Vattemare in The Rogueries of Nicholas, and William Macready playing Hotspur in King Henry IV and Othello in the eponymous play. A future performance of James Sheridan Knowles's play Virginius is also announced.
