Broadside playbill for a performance of a comic opera The Wager; Or, The Midnight Hour, an adaption of Elizabeth Inchbald's play The Midnight Hour. This performance was to be a benefit for William Gore Elliston, the manager of the theater (and son of R. W. Elliston). Performers listed on the playbill include John Braham and Charles Kemble, starring as King Charles the Second in the play of that name.
