Summary
Wishing her a Happy Thanksgiving and mentioning the books her son sent him; saying "Your kind son sent me an enormous parcel of interesting books - PLEASE don't send anymore as I now have a stack to read and don't know what I can do with them when I go home - one can't pack them - they are so heavy, alas; thanking her for the gloves "..such a welcome and delightful present - you are too generous. I do hope you may still be able to come to the play - we have extended to Dec. 18th and I shall so hope to see you again in a week or so when I finish my TV and 'voice over' Chekhov assignments."
