Summary
Saying that "[m]y congratulations on Miss Elliston's debut upon the grand Theatre in which we are all players, must have crossed Mr Rundall on the road"; writing that he has been very busy since he returned to Cambridge; saying that he intended to send them a letter this evening, "but the weather kept me out beyond the hour"; adding, however, that a Fellow is going into town in the morning with this letter, and so he'll "gain two days in conveying a repetition of my wishes for your Wifes safe recovery, & my willingness to be one of the Sponsors for your Daughter"; saying that Elliston may end up doubting the prudence of that choice, "when you consider, that probably before the Damsel will be able to answer what is your name and who gave it, I may not be found to put the questions"; sending his love to Elizabeth; adding in a postscript that he will be in London again soon and will aim to meet with Mr. Rundall then.
