Summary
Thanking her for the invitation to lunch and apologizing for taking so long to reply; saying "...as you can imagine I have been rather rushed, and was confined to barracks for the first three days I arrived. Friday the 27th would be fine for me and Martin - and I asked Ralph Richardson if he and his wife would care to come and they said they would be most delighted. They are at the Carlyle Hotel, but do not trouble to write as I would bring them with me, if that date is still convenient for you. So much looking forward to the pleasure of seeing you again, and I do hope you will enjoy the play when you see it. The press seems to be wonderfully favourable, thank goodness."
