Summary
Concerning her manuscripts; saying "A fit of the Gout has so tormented me, for the last three weeks, that I have been absolutely incapable of attending to your manuscripts. - My pains have, in great measure subsided, & today, for the first time since this attack, I shall limp to a carriage. In the course of the ensuing week, I shall endeavor to make up for the lost time; &, as soon as I have perused your packets, will trouble you with my opinion."
