Summary
Apologizing for the "...sad trespass I have made upon your patience; endure with me a few days longer, & as the end of this week, I will have the pleasure of writing to you fully, on the subject of your manuscripts. I have been, chiefly, out of town, since the close of the Haymarket Theatre; & I am sure your good nature will excuse the delay which has arisen from any indulgence in rustication, after toiling, in London, through the rage of the Dog-Days."
