Summary
Apologizing that he cannot be with him tomorrow night but that his wife will come even though she is "...too ill to contribute much I fear to your jollity - however she is sure to do her best so accept her as you would both of us[.] she will represent my part worthily I know. Send her back in good time and do not press too much upon her the good things with which your hospitable table always groans - remember she is half an invalid."
