Summary
Sending him a book of his work: "Don't try to read all at once, or you'll get bored: take gentle doses, lay the book down whenever you are amused, and sleep. The inscription is on the back of the endpaper, so as not to spoil an august representation of bookmanship"; writing that Foyle's is giving a "Literary Luncheon" next month at which he will be giving a talk on "The Bookman's London"; mentioning that two editors are very enthusiastic about it; complaining of a toothache.
