Thanking him for his kind invitation "...wh. I shall very gladly avail myself of later on. I am still going on improving in spite of the exceedingly rough & cold weather we have had lately. I fear much for the harvest in this part of the country. The crop is a very good one if it c'd be saved. But there is still time enough if the weather w'd only take up."
