Summary
Concerning a proposed biography of Richard Cobden; saying "I am also anxious to talk to you about a conversation which I have just had with John Morley. I am not without much hope that we may find him willing to help us. I can hardly tell you how important I should consider this both with a view to your father's fame, & also to the influence of his teaching.".
