Summary
Thanking him for the invitation to the boat race but saying "...it is difficult for us to leave home at the weekends; but we shall be with you in spirit. Don't forget that it is your turn to lunch me. I don't mind that, and should be delighted to lunch you. However, I can't arrange a lunch for a few weeks, so perhaps you will bear me in mind for some day (a Wednesday, preferably) round about the end of April. Will you? I should like it very much. Or if you are in this direction, with your wife, any time during the summer, we should both be awfully glad to see you."
