Summary
Concerning a book, possibly a volume of Charlotte Mew's poetry: "Before writing to the Listener, I ascertained from Bumpus [the booksellers] that they had no copies in stock. Wilson [John G. Wilson, manager of Bumpus] said that he had written twice to Alida without getting an answer"; adding that he was "very glad that I was mistaken about GM [George Meredith]. It was Q who told me that it was locomotor ataxy."
