Summary
Enclosing the account "for the purchase & binding of 'Alice in Wonderland' which is now ready for delivery. If you will kindly send me instructions for sending same together with cheque for the balance of the acct. I will at once forward it to you;" proposing the method of shipment; adding "The copy bound is an exceedingly good one & tho' it has lost its original cover I thought it better worth binding than a soiled copy with cover. The copy offered for sale by Spencer was an exceedingly dirty one & quite worthless."
