Telling Fowler about watching Arlo Guthrie on television when he tells a story that reminds her of a movie owned by Metro that was written by Ben and Gene; wondering who sold the rights to the movie to allow this to happen; saying that she has been in Chicago tending to her sister who just had surgery; congratulating him on the Gene Fowler room at a university and asking which one it is; explaining a murder story from New York; sending her love to his mother and family; (on verso of envelope) adding that this letter was forwarded by a former lawyer.
