Summary
Concerning his progress on Spinoza; saying "I have been much interrupted this week by meetings of Senate, graduation &c & I have found more time necessary than I expected to verify references &c so that I will not be able to send you the MS. till Monday or Tuesday. I suppose it sh'd then be sent to St. Andrews. We leave for Buxton on Wednesday & I will give you my address there as soon as we have fixed our quarters. My wife has been subject all the Winter to rheumatic attacks, & we sh'd have gone off sooner, had I been able to get away."
